Explore Australia this summer on a bespoke Black Opal tour. Our experienced hosts Jamie Smith and Gladstone Small will accompany guests as they travel across this vast and varied country. You’ll stop off at the cities of Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, meaning you’ll in the right place at the right time to see some rugby, should you wish. Between cities you’ll also spend time in the picturesque surrounds of Hamilton Island and explore reef and rainforest from a luxury base in Port Douglas.

After 3 nights in the city it's time to head Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays. Unwind in picturesque surrounds and enjoy your luxury accommodation at Beach Club. Excursions on this leg of the tour will include an unforgettable hosted full-day boat trip with snorkelling in crystal-clear waters.

On Monday you'll fly to Cairns, from where our journey Port Douglas provides spectacular ocean views along a string of stunning beaches that this region of Australia is renowned for.
Port Douglas itself is a picturesque coastal town known for its stunning beaches and vibrant coral reef. It also provides the perfect base to explore the area, due to its proximity to the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest.
Excursions here promise to be unforgettable. Guests will enjoy a full day cruise and snorkelling on the Outer Barrier Reef in a luxury catamaran, including lunch and beverages. Additionally you'll be treated to a 2-hour Daintree River Wildlife Cruise, where we hope you'll catch glimpses of this region's unique birdlife and spot some crocodile activity as you cruise along.
